Hilltop is signposted on the Delvin Road, just 3kms from Mullingar Town, which is the capital of Westmeath. It is situated in lovely open countryside with its splendid lakes and with a wide variety of activities nearby.
Mullingar is an ideal touring base for the many historic sites of the Midlands and Lakeland Districts. We are just over one hours drive from the famous Neolithic sites of Newgrange, Knowth, Dowth, Loughcrew and the early Christian sites of Clonmacnoise and Fore.
Dublin Airport and Ferry Ports are also just one hours drive from Hilltop Bed and Breakfast in Mullingar.
Directions
Travelling from Dublin Sligo or Westport take exit 16 off N4 Follow the sign for the N52 on to the Delvin/Dundalk road. The sign for Hilltop is on the left side about 1km from that exit. Turn in to the left and sharp left again and continue to the next Hilltop sign and turn right. All other routes follow the N52 Delvin/Dundalk sign from Mullingar town.Travelling from Delvin look out for the Hilltop sign on the 2nd right after the Topas /Rathconnell filling station .
